Our client, a leading European Corporate with more than 4,000 employees, is looking for an Analyst / Associate to join its successful M&A team based in Munich.

The role includes

• Acting as deal team member in facilitating strategic acquisitions into new business lines
• Working on live deals and supporting M&A team in conducting a variety of transactions (single assets, local chains) in Germany
• Financial modelling, conducting due diligence (financial, operational and commercial), deal execution
• Enhance group-wide M&A tools / frameworks and processes together with M&A team
• Developing and implementing the country’s M&A strategy together with M&A team and Country Senior Management

Your profile

• 2-5 years of experience in M&A at a top tier investment bank
• Strong modelling and financial / accounting skills
• Strategic, analytical and commercial thinker, as well as resourceful problem solver
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management team as well as with entrepreneurs and small business owners
• Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects
• International work exposure a plus
